One Avodart in the morning to help reduce the size of my prostate. Now the side effects of Avodart include a decreased sex drive, impotence, and abnormal ejaculation. There are also some Avodart side effects that I should report to my doctor such as signs of an allergic reaction -- like itching, hives, wheezing, difficulty breathing or swallowing, or an unexplained skin rash -- and any breast changes. Wow! I'll be wheezing because of no more sex and my boobs will get bigger while I'm scratching the heck out of them! Holy cow!! Then, the last pill I take in the morning is a pill to settle my stomach, because of all the other pills I have to take. Now, that's only in the morning. After a hard day of work, which is becoming a thing of the past because of the economy, I can take 2 more Tylenol if I need them. After supper I need to take a pretty three-colored pill to make sure I don't have to get up to pee more than once at night. But you know, the last pill I take before hopping in bed, the Tylenol PM, usually knocks me out anyway. It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.

The "And....on the Eight Day Pills Were Created" Story
It was an ordinary day. I had just finished taking my morning meds. Years ago I saw all my older friends taking all those pills and swore I would never have to do that. Well, you know you're not supposed to swear. And....now I am doing the same. My Mom gripes and gripes about all the pills she has to take. 100s of them if you listen to her. Her sister, my Aunt Lois, is the same way. "Don't need all those pills," they both say. Must be hereditary. Stopped with my Mom's gene though. I function so much better if I take the 12 pills in the morning that I am supposed to take. No, that's if I REMEMBER to take them.
