The "Quick Update" Story

It was an ordinary day. Basement survived better than me. Only had 9 1/2" of water in the basement that finally were taken away by my 2 pumps. Carpet guy and gas burner guys in already to get us going again. Huge fans will leave soon. Carol had had to handle all of this by herself. What a sweetheart. As for the surgery. Successful, but painful right now. The front hurts more than the back though. Couldn't urinate so they had to insert a tube so I could pee. Nurse tried THREE times, then called for a urologist to do it. He got it the first try. Got home yesterday and first time I felt like sitting in front of the computer. Really crummy way to celebrate my birthday. Thanks for tuning in! It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.
