The "A Song For The Oldies ..... People That Is!" Story

It was an ordinary day. And then my friend from Arizona sent me an email. He titled the email "A Song to Lighten Your Mood." I listened to it a few times and then wrote a story about how I felt about it. After reading the story a few times myself, I had to stop and laugh. Was I really as depressed as I said in my story. Nah!! So, I will try again. Here goes ....... I listened to it a few times and the more I understood the lyrics, the more I laughed. Hey, it could have been filmed in my house with all the pill bottles and the keys in the fridge. But, if you can't make fun of yourself and your age, you'll be so depressed that life will really suck. I'm not like that. So I highlighted my old story and hit the delete button. Actually lost the entire story and had to start over, since I must have hit something else by mistake. That's life, right. Happens all the time when I sit in front of the computer, but that's what makes writing these stories fun, having to write some of them over again. That way I can laugh a second, or even third time, about myself as I put the words on the screen. Oh yeah, getting back to the song, titled the "Green Side of the Grass" and I know you'll enjoy it. If not call me and we can talk. I just know I can tell you a story that will make you laugh! It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.
