The "The World Of Globes And Maps" Story

It was an ordinary day.  Adding a few pins to my Pinterest page.  A few years ago my wife was telling me about a new website she heard about called Pinterest.  You could get on the site and start your own account and add photos from the web that you liked to your own account.  I told her to give it a try and she did …… using my name and my photo.  Why?  She didn't have a photo of herself that she liked.  Well, I didn't know she did that until one evening she was showing me the account and I saw my photo on it.  Then I started to view the different categories that she had created.  One category was about cooking, one about jewelry, one about everything related to Christmas, and so on.  I knew that I better get going or people will have the wrong impression of me so I started categories on Henry J (the car), The Black Art (printing), Black and White Favorites and Ansel Adams.  Now people will know what type of photos I enjoy.  

Then, every so often I would add a new category.  Faces of the World, Umbrellas, Birds of a Feather, and Doors with Flair I added to my listings while Carol added a few of her own such as Gardening, Fashion and Nails.  Well, one of my categories is called The World of Globes and Maps and I would like to share with you some of my favorites from that category.  As of today I have pinned 986 photos from other people around the world, all dealing with globes and maps.  I know ……. you're thinking why would anyone want to look at photos of globes and maps.  Well, take a look and see what I have pinned and maybe you might want to do the same as I did.  I have only selected 20, but I could have added many, many more which I really enjoy. Hope you enjoy the unusual ones I chose. It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.
