The "Grandkids In Action" Story

It was an ordinary day.  Sitting in the stands of Clipper Magazine Stadium along North Prince Street watching my grandson, Caden, field ground balls.  My two granddaughters made the trip with me to the stadium to watch the kids learn baseball from the players on the Barnstormers Independent baseball team in Lancaster, PA.  My guess is there is close to 150 boys and girls from ages 6-12 learning the correct techniques of fielding, throwing and batting from the players who play for the Barnstormers.  Naturally, I have my camera with me and after a few shots I relinquish it to my granddaughter Camille who just turned 10.  I did so reluctantly, but after I was ushered off the field, back into the stands, by security for hopping over a fence to get a closer look at my grandson, I thought maybe my granddaughter would look less threatening and be able to get closer for some photos.   I made sure the camera was fastened securely to her neck and told her to document what Caden was doing during the two-hour clinic.  Well, the results are in and I thought I would share with you what she thought were the most important points of the clinic.  Hope you enjoy what she had to share.  It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.
