The "Holiday of Sunsets" Story

It was an ordinary day. Just took a photo of my last sunset. After two weeks on Barbados, and gorgeous sunsets every evening, I just saw my last. And it was terrific! Motoring on the catamaran "Ocean Mist" along the West coast of the island, I knew I was in for a treat. The many shades of yellows and reds that I got in the photo were beautiful. Caught a cruise ship that had just left the harbor in Bridgetown in one, and just the sun in another. I must have shot 40 to 50 sunset photos, but have only included my favorites in this story. Searched for the "Green Flash" every night, but never saw it. I guess I was lucky seeing it one time. Many people go to their grave having never seen the flash of green that occurs sometimes as the sun disappears below the horizon. Hope you enjoy some of my favorites. It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.

The first two are probably my best, showing a native islander fishing at twilight.

and ....... the final one!
