Regular sized bar is on left while a miniature bar is on the top right of the World's Largest Hershey Bar.
It was an ordinary day. Starting to put the Christmas decorations away as well as the presents that Carol and I got for Christmas. I lifted her pile of gifts and wondered why it was so heavy then remembered that I had gotten her the "World's Biggest Hershey Bar" as a gift this year. Now, I know that she isn't going to be able to eat all that by herself, but that is the reason I got it for her. It is huge! I know that 5 pounds doesn't sound heavy, but when it is 18" long and 9" wide by 3/4" thick, it is heavy. A regular Hershey bar is 1.55 oz. in weight while this bar is 80 oz. in weight. Would take over 51 of the regular sized bars to equal the weight of the 5 pound bar. The smaller bar recommends that is 1 serving size while the big bar recommends you should eat 1/60 of it as one serving. If she ate the entire bar at one time she would be consuming 11,400 calories and 720 grams of fat. But, you know that chocolate really is good for you. The Mayans knew that long ago so they consumed all their chocolate by December 21 of 2012, just in case the world would have come to an end. Cocoa has great medicinal value. It helps improve memory, fights cancer, helps prevent arthritis, and helps improve memory. Wait a minute, I just typed that twice. Guess I need to eat some more chocolate. Carol first needs to break the bar into smaller pieces, but how is she going to do that. Our son Tad came for dinner on New Year's Day and he suggested we break it into smaller pieces as he used to do with the 5 pound Wilbur bars that he used to photograph for ads. He would drop it onto the concrete floor with some force and it would break apart. Carol wasn't in favor of that since she said it would probably break through the wrapper and we couldn't eat those pieces exposed after it broke. Tad suggested we put a towel around it before we smash it onto the concrete garage floor. As I write this story, it is still in one piece, but I can't stand looking at it much longer in it's current state. My memory is slipping and I need a piece badly. Where's the hammer!! It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.
