The "A Walk To The Beach At Po'ipu" Story

It was an ordinary day.  Arrived at the Po'ipu Kia Resort in Po'ipu, Hawaii a few days ago  and arose early this morning to explore the beautiful grounds of the resort.  I'm going to take you with me and let you wander around the resort as I walk towards Po'ipu Beach which is on the Pacific Ocean. I'm sure you will agree that the place is beautiful.  It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.  PS - remember to click on photos to enlarge them.

Condo units that are part of the resort.
Pathways throughout the resort.
Flowers galore!
Plumeria trees throughout.
Bird of Paradise.
Looking toward the Pacific.
Kauai is known as the "Garden Island."
After reaching the beach you can watch the guys riding the waves on their boards.
Beautiful morning. That's me with my camera in the bottom right of the photo.
Pathway with plants on one side and banana trees on the other.
More flowers.
This is just beautiful.
Grove of banana trees.
Not sure what this plant may be, but this is looking at the back of the leaf with the sun showing through it.  The spots are markings on the front of the leaf.
This is the bark on a palm tree.  The marks are probably created over time by the workers climbing the trees to trim the leaves and coconuts from the trees.  The workers shoes have cleats on them to help them climb.
My constant friend is a rooster who is showing me around his territory.
This will end up being one of the leaves of the plant.
On the patio of our condo is located this banana tree.
