The "I Needed My Fix Of Beach Photographs!" Story

It was an ordinary day.  Searching the Internet for stories and photographs from islands in the Caribbean.  Found quite a few, but when I opened a few websites that deal with my favorite island, Sint Maarten/Saint Martin, I began to copy and paste photo after photo from many different sites that I thought I would be able to use at one time or another for a story or just to admire and wish I was there on vacation.  So...for your enjoyment, I have selected a dozen or so of the photos from my searching and hope you enjoy them as much as I did.  Sitting in my lounge chair and on my rear deck are getting old right now and since we can't travel until this virus begins to release it's grip on us, island photos will have to do.  It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.

Beautiful photo that I'm not quite sure how it was taken.
A beautiful island drink that looks as if it has a yellow umbrella in it.
The solitude of a beautiful beach is a welcome sight.
An island fish market is always a great place to shop for fresh food.
I'm not sue what this dessert may be...but I just have to have one!
My island friend Barbara took this photo of a sunflower in her garden.  Looks like a painting.
One of the many island birds found at the Bird Santuary.
The outline of the island as seen from a plane window.
I could sit on any one of these chairs and...fall asleep listening to the waves.
One of many alleyways in the town of Philipsburg.  Just beautiful!
An island legend.  The Father of Caribbean Impressionism, Sir Roland Richardson.
I never get tired of taking and viewing photos of planes landing in Sint Maarten.

Not sure where this was taken, but it is hilarious.
As Jimmy would say...It's five o'clock somewhere.
Pretty umbrellas all in a row.

High tide may cause a problem!
Hey, everyone needs a nap now and then!
My favorite Lager!

Do you feel left behind as I do.  It has to change in the near future!!

Thank you all for your contributions to this story.  I loved all the photos!
