It was an ordinary day. Day 2 of viewing sea shells from around the world. Carol and I have been lucky enough during our married life to have traveled to a variety of beaches around the world. We each have our own favorites, but no matter what beach we may be visiting, we always seem to be able to collect a few shells that might be easier to find on that particular beach than on any other. We have two coffee tables in our new home at Woodcrest Villa that are full of the shells we have collected. The shells that you may have viewed yesterday and today were all shells that were uninhabited at the time we collected them. We never tire of looking at them and love to share them with everyone who visits with us. I'm sorry to say that we don't know the names of all of them, but that doesn't stop us from admiring them. And, since they were vacant when we picked them up on the beach, we don't feel bad that we took away someone's home when we brought them home with us. We realize how lucky we have been to have been able to travel during our married life and have collected them. We now enjoy having guests visit with us and to share the shells with all of our visitors. It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy. PS - click on images to enlarge them.
