The "It's A Shore Thing: Part I" Story

It was an ordinary day.  Just selected 20 photos from the more than 1000 that I took during a recent trip to Ocean City, NJ.  The 20 that I chose are my favorites and not necessarily the best 20.  Rather than post all 20 at one time I have chosen to post half today and half tomorrow.  Hope you enjoy at least a few of the photos.  It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.

New ride at one of the amusement piers.  How people can ride some of the rides and not get sick or disoriented when it is complete.
I have posted photos of flowers before, but I never tire of looking at them or photographing them.  This is slightly different since it shows the ocean in the background.
All along the boardwalk are benches donated in memory of or in honor of a friend or relative.  Pretty neat idea for those families that have visited Ocean City for years.
The dunes and grasses appear in the foreground of this photo I took of my oldest granddaughter, Courtney.
Bikes are the major means of transportation on the boardwalk, except for walking.  Many are extremely colorful!
I love the amusement piers and the rides and games that are great for photographing.
One store had this parrot sitting inside the front door to greet people.  I offered him my finger to sit on and he immediately hopped on it.
Another Courtney photo.  Kids this age are always on the phone with friends.  Here she evidently can't believe what she is viewing.
Just about anything to eat is for sale on the boardwalk.  One of my favorites.
Taken from the top of the Ferris Wheel of the boardwalk.
