The "A Puzzling Experience" Story

Barb and Derek working on "A Day At The Beach" puzzle.
It was an ordinary day.  Barb just finished the second 500 piece puzzle on the coffee table of the rental unit where we are staying in Ocean City, NJ.  One of the favorite activities that my family enjoys while on vacation is gathering around the coffee table in the living room and putting together a puzzle.
Barb and Courtney with the finished puzzle.
Most puzzle boxes that are opened have a beach theme to them which lends to the total beach experience.  Some years Barb does the majority of the puzzle herself while other years she get help from just about everyone.  This year my granddaughter Courtney helped quite a bit, but Barb's husband Derek, my other granddaughter Camille, my grandson and Barb's son Caden pitched in as well as my wife Carol.  Come to think about it, I may have been one of the few who didn't participate in the yearly ritual of putting puzzles together on the coffee table.  Check out the photos and you can see everyone at work on our tradition.  It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.

Courtney and Camille begin the second puzzle.
Carol, Barb, Caden, Camille and Courtney show off the second puzzle they put together.
This larger floor puzzle was the product of Courtney, Caden and Camille.
