It was an ordinary day. Checking my email and found a few woman who like my Pinterest pins. OK, now what is that. I clicked on them and found out that sure enough I must have a Pinerest account. Figured out right away who must have the account with my photo on it. Yep, my wife. She didn't have a photo that she liked so she used the one that I use for this blog. Thought I recognized it. For those of you who have no idea what Pinerest is, here is what Wikipedia says: Pinterest is a pinboard-style social photo sharing website that allows users to create and manage theme-based image collections such as events, interests, hobbies, and more. Users can browse other pinboards for inspiration, 're-pin' images to their own collections and/or 'like' photos. Pinterest's mission is to "connect everyone in the world through the 'things' they find interesting" via a global platform of inspiration and idea sharing. That help? I also found out that there is Pinterest etiquette which includes: Be respectful; Be authentic; Credit your sources; Report objectionable content; and Tell them how to make it better. So, I'm looking at all the pins on my Pinterest pinboard that I allegedly pinned and find that they are all ....... well ..... female related. Pretty stuff! People will think I'm a girlie man! Now I did like all the animal shots that my wife pinned for me and I do like all the neat food photos and recipes, but where are the photos of my favorite Phillies and the ones of the Vettes. No where to be found. Then the next email that I open happens to be the favorite pins from Caribbean fans. These I like. The top 10 pinned photos of the month from Caribbean Travel and Life magazine. So since I have to look at all my other pins, I thought I would add these to my Pinterest board. If only I can figure out how to do it. I may have to ask my wife. It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.
