It was an ordinary day. Talked to my friend Dale last night and made arrangements with him to head over to Issac's Restaurant for supper in a few days. Haven't see him and his wife Pat for a couple of weeks with our travel and his travel and our maladies and their maladies. Anyway, we got to talking and I told him I can hardly wait to go see the Beatles in Concert with the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra on New Year's Eve. We have tickets for the show at the American Music Theater. The Beatles are really the group called "Beatlemania." I saw them last summer in a concert in the park near York, Pennsylvania and they were fantastic. Should be just as great with a symphony orchestra to back they up. Got to reminiscing a little with Dale, as we seem to do all the time, and told him about this really neat video that I saw on "YouTube" the other day. Was sent to me by my long-time friend Bill from Arizona. After an intro, Billy Joel Royal sings his hit song "Funny How Time Slips Away." Let me tell you, it really brought back memories for me and I'm sure it will for you when you listen to it. That is unless you are under the age of ..... say .... 50 or 55. But, maybe you'll like it anyway. Remember it was recorded when music was music!! It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.
