Now, I can see the 397 hits from the United States and the 82 from France, since quite a few of the stories this past week dealt with the French side of the island St. Martin in the Caribbean, but the 53 from Russia? Wow, hard to believe that just about 10% of the hits came from Russia. I'm hoping that they can read English or logging on to this blog and trying to read it may be a chore. As far as operating systems go, people access more of my stories from Windows (69%) and Macintosh (14%) than any other. The majority of the stories are seen by using the browser Explorer (34%) with Safari (19%) and FireFox (17%) being the next two largest users. The largest referring site to my blog is Google with almost 50% and the search word that people type in the most that refers them to my stories is "extraordinary stories" with, believe it or not, "playboy magazine" in third place. That's one stat I have a hard time believing. The two posts that got the most hits since I started posting daily stories over three years ago are the stories I wrote about "The Ventures" back on May 24, 2012 and "The Puka Dog Story" on November 26, 2009. Why those two stories I haven't a clue. When I added the counter that appears to the right of my stories after about six months of writing, I did it because my wife wondered if anyone actually was reading my stories. Currently I sometimes have anywhere between 75 to 150 hits every day. I'm impressed to say the least. Not only that, I'm still having a great time writing the stories. What at one time was something to do instead of watching TV every evening has now turned into my second favorite hobby, right behind photography. I try to always write my own stories with only a few lines from others and try to take all the photos that I possibly can to illustrate my stories. And its funny, I still have quite a few tales to tell. Thanks to everyone!! It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.
