It was an ordinary day. Checking out a few flashmobs videos that were sent too me after posting my story about myself singing in the Lancaster Hallelujah flashmob this past December. Participating in a flashmob is both fun as well as amazing. I had passed the word to a few of my friends about singing and this past year about half a dozen of them sang along with me as we sang at four locations around Lancaster city and county. If you're not familiar with the term flashmob, Wikipedia describes it as: A group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and unseemingly pointless act for a brief time, then quickly disperse, often for the purpose of entertainment, satire and artistic expression. That's pretty close to what we did when we sang the Hallelujah Chorus this past holiday season. Evidently many enjoyed the story since I received quite a few emails telling me to check out this video or that video on YouTube. The following are a few of the emails that I enjoyed the most. As you will see, not all flashmobs have to be just singers. Enjoy! It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.
