It was an ordinary day. Looking once again at a photo essay presented by Mr. Benton Webber which was posted to the Facebook page known as "Remember When.....In Lancaster, PA." Today's photographs show the area in Lancaster County's Manheim Township that today is covered with roads that head just about any direction you may care to travel. Some of the photographs are from the 1700s with a few having been taken in the past year or two. I'm not sure if Mr. Webber took any of the photographs, but he did accumulate them and posted them on Facebook. Some of the photographs are also from the photographic library of The Lancaster Historical Society. Thank you to all who supplied the photographs so that those who may perhaps live in this area may have a different view of the area than they do from an automobile. It was another extraordinary day in the life of an ordinary guy.
