One of the many variety of flowers that add color to the island. Click on images to enlarge. |
Shells abound on most islands, and St. Martin is no different than the rest. |
I love to look for vibrant colors. This is a closed restaurant that will come alive as the sun goes down. |
I have a small sphere that I use to take photographs at times. This one showed the beach chair I was sitting on at the time. |
Taken with my iPhone in the Pano mode. This is the far south-east end of Orient Beach where the coral fills the beach. The colors are so beautiful as I stood overlooking the shoreline. |
But, black and white can be just as beautiful at times. |

I was visiting with an island woman who opens her home to the stray cats and dogs. This poor kitty looks out the window to see when she may get her next meal. |
This little guy enjoys the foliage as much as I do, but in a different way. |
Two kite surfers dot this seascape as seen from the multi-colored ocean view. |
One more black and white of much the same scene as the last photograph. |
This was a reconstructed building that at one time was a convent in the town of Philipsburg. It flies the flag of Sint Maarten. |
Great photos. I especially like the sepia one of the Court House.
