It was an ordinary day. Just finished talking to Karen, our travel agent, about plane tickets for our next vacation to St. Martin. I have been checking online for tickets ever since I missed our last vacation to St. Martin because of needed back surgery. We lost our tickets back in September, but were able to use them for this next trip. Did lose a transfer fee, but managed to finally get tickets at a reasonable price. I deal with Karen because she handles any flight changes, cancellations, and constantly checks for the best prices thru a few different airlines and from a few of the airports that are close to our house. The $25 fee she charges is well worth all the hassle if I had to do that myself. Finished making the arrangements and decided it was time to check the weather outside our house. October 29th and it is snowing!! IT'S SNOWING!! Hard to believe. Don’t have all the summer plants in the house yet and wasn’t able to finish the grass mowing and leaf raking. But, they can wait. Over the years I have learned that the job will be there tomorrow if I don’t get it done today. Heck, I didn’t even bother to go out and shovel the half foot of snow we have on the ground. Figure it will melt in the next couple days and I can then do the grass and leaves. If not, the leaves will probably blow away and the grass will become dormant soon. Have to learn how to pace myself. Maybe find some ways
